The Auction Rooms advises auction clients of the benefits of using both broad and specific terms when searching for items of interest. To enter your search words, login and enter them in your account.
Your Search Keywords
These words and phrases will be used to help you find lots with items you are interested in.
The “View My Lots” feature, available when viewing an auction, allows you to refine your search and see only the most relevant results.
The words and phrases should be separated by commas. The more specific your terms, the more targeted your results will be. However, using general terms can help you find a wider range of items, which may be useful at times.
Note:
Part-matches are displayed to maximize results, so you may occasionally see unexpected items listed. For example, if you list “wood” as one of your search words, lots with “Wedgwood” or “wooden” in their descriptions will also be displayed.
If you need assistance with this feature, please contact The Auction Rooms.
All lots attract a buyer’s premium of 17%, eg. if a hammer price is $100 your invoice total will be $117. Goods need to be paid for and removed by 4.30pm Monday following the auction.
(due to the public holiday) All lots are sold as inspected. We offer no warranty on any goods sold relating to condition or fitness for purpose.
Please ensure you have inspected goods prior to bidding.
The term A/F in a description denotes “all faults” meaning that we are aware of some damage or conditional issue with an Item. We cannot fully inspect every lot.
It is your responsibility to ensure you are happy with condition prior to bidding. All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on lots sold.
Internet bidders please be aware that we will not be responsible for bids missed due to late bidding or Net lag.
Early bidding will give you the best chance of success.
