Since 2002 The Auction Rooms has conducted auctions from our bricks and mortar premises at 22 Hindmarsh Avenue, in Welland, South Australia.
Our auction house assists with the sale of estates, downsizes, house moves, disposals of collections, rental seizures, liquidations, commercial clearances, small domestic clear outs and the odd good thing found by the roadside.
We present and sell everything from shed and garden contents to antique, vintage or modern furnishings, decorative household items, collectables, jewellery, artworks, vehicles and caravans. Generally if it has reasonable value we can sell it.
Over two decades Lachlan Marshall and the team have developed a range of collector and trade contacts around Australia, ensuring we can provide you with the best possible advice.
If you are new to auctions feel free to browse our rooms during viewing hours, or view the online catalogue while you get a feel for the process. Our staff will answer any questions you may have about how buying works.
If you are new to a field of collecting, or hunting for a new decorator look feel free to pick our brains. We like what we do and we have been doing it for a long time. You’ll be amazed at the questions we can answer and advice we can provide.
We are passionate about reuse. As a seller we will assist you to find homes for items no longer required. As a buyer we present tens of thousands of lots every year that give you the opportunity to not only reuse rather than purchasing new, but also to access quality objects that fall outside the generic offerings of new retail stores.
If you have seen it on social media, or in a retro boutique the chances are we saw it first. We give you the opportunity to compete with retailers at the source.
